Happy Halloween Folks!

Okay I have to admit, I am not thrilled with the outfit. I was thinking I'm more the spiderman type.  But mom said I did't have any choices, it was this or a pumpkin.  A pumpkin wouldn't have fit my image at all. Penny would have to be the pumpkin.  I do have to admit, it sort of makes me look like a bad guy doesn't it?   I insisted that I had to wear it last night when I went with mom and dad to visit grammy. (That's my mom's mom who lives at Frederick Mennonite Commuity).  Grammy thought I looked so cute, "really?" I'm supposed to be tough, cute isn't tough, oh well, she is old and doesn't really understand.  She always says I look cute.   Everyone who saw me said "Look at the dog with the halloween costume!".   It was fun!  Good evening for all.  It was worth the effort of the silly suit! Next year I am gonna insist on spiderman!

By the way, "Happy Halloween".   Note to humans: don't give dogs any of your chocolate candy.  It's very bad for them.  To my dog friends that follow my blog, If your parents forget and hand you a piece of candy, have willpower and say "NO" to Candy!

Hope we can all have a Happy Halloween!  Hope this darn storm doesn't mess us up.
This is a picture my mom took the other morning of the neighbor lady walking her dogs.   She has three dogs just like we have at our house. Her dogs are our friends ,there names are  Molly, Copper and Dusty. The mom's name is Lindsay and she is our friend.  She comes to our house to feed the cats and birds when mom and dad are on vacation.

Don't the leaves look pretty in the morning?    What beautiful sight, the pretty leaves and my good friends!   Doesn't get much better than this, unless of course, you are getting a people food treat!  People food tops everything!   :)
Does this look cool or what?  It is an abandoned turnpike tunnel.  Dad and his friend Dave took a trip to western PA last Saturday to check them out!   Mom and dad had checked them out over 20 years ago.  But Dave and dad did it and it was legal this time.  The road between the two abandoned tunnels is now open for hiking or biking.  Dad and Dave explored the tunnel (I think I would have been scared).  Then they biked to the other tunnel and checked that out. They had cool pictures, but I only borrowed this one.
