I love my mommy even if she

 is a little crazy at times. 

Mom's been on the computer the last few days. I heard her tell dad that she was gonna write a book called "My tails". It's gonna have pictures and stories of all the animals she has had since she was a little girl.  Wow, I think this is gonna be a long  book.

I heard her say that her first dog experience is a dog that belonged to her grammy.  The name of that dog was Taffy.  She said that her family had a french poodle names Sherie.

But then she gets to the dogs she has owned.  Wow.  Let me see if I remember. I'm gonna see if I can find some pictures on the computer for some of them. I know she's been looking through a lot of pictures. She said something about having to scan some cause she doesn't have digital photos for them.

She said she first had Bear, but she has to find a good picture and scan one of him.
Then came Chief. Oh wow, Chief was one of those dalmatians. 

After Chief came another dalmatian named Abby.









I guess from the spots we go to France for another French Poodle, named Snowflake.

Next after me comes Eve, who mom calls "Eva Grace" 

Then we have the next dog, Clara.

wow. .That's alot of dogs. 




I'll do the cats another time, there isn't as many of them and they are cats, so really, who cares!

So here we have the "ruff" life of Addie.

She sleeps in a basket on the table.

She sleeps on the dog's bed in the livingroom.

she sleep sideways on the sofa, or maybe mom had the camera sideways. hummmmm...

Of course some cats will sleep anywhere! 
Two of them yet, how stupid they are.
Frankie has already been in the crate when Eve is told to crate and she stays there with Eve. Crazy cats!

I love Eve, I really do, she is one of my best friends.

 







 But I wanted to show you the phases of Eve that I see so often!  Enjoy!  

This is the usual day to activities of Eve. 

Maybe next time I'll feature another one of the animals.  Maybe even a cat, I said "Maybe a cat!".

My goodness where has the time gone??  It's been forever since I got computer time!  I have so much to get caught up on!  Lots of things have been happening around here.  Let me think. 

The big thing is our sister, Katie graduated from college. She had done that before, but they keep saying she now has her Master's Degree in Student Affairs from Kutztown University.  I'm not sure what a Master's Degree is,  but I think that means you can own something (Like a dog) and you can tell them what to do (Like our mom and dad do. They are our masters, so I guess they got a degree in it.  I don't really know.) So, I'm thinking Katie will now be able to own students and boss around  with this degree. But don't quote me on that, I didn't take the time to look up what Master's Degree really means.  I just know she graduated and she was so glad to be finished with school. 

After graduation, usually mom and dad go on vacation, but instead Katie decided to go on vacation with a friend that she had gone to college with the past two years.  Lauren and Katie took a cruise.  They were gone a full week, she said she had a really nice time. 

After school Katie was really excited cause she got a job at Penn State Schuylkill.  She said that she'll have to move cause it would be too much of a drive in one day, an hour each way.  So she started to look for an apartment. She found one in a weird named town, I think she called it Hamburger.  She said it's only about 20 minutes from the college where she works (where I think she master's students somehow)  Anyway, she moved out of the house.  I keep looking in her room and alot of her clothing are gone, but her bed and most the other thing in her room are still there.  So I don't really understand moving out and not taking your stuff. Mom said that kids often do that, she's heard it many times. 

Here is a picture of where Katie now lives.  Mom and dad said it's a nice apartment.  I don't know she never took me to see it. She took Perkins and Addi from our house to her new apartment.  They were there for a month.  Perkins was kind of okay about it, but Katie told mom that Addi kept hiding in the closet most the time.  She also rubbed the fur off of her nose. I am thinking for her to do that, she must have really been stressed.   Katie went away for almost a week and brought them back here (YAY.. back to 4 cats in this house again).  After a few weeks Katie ended up just taking Perkins back with her and letting Addi with us (YAY!  NOT).  Actually Addi is fine, for a cat, but she is still a cat.  Addi feels much more comfortable here.  At the new place everything was new. The furniture, the place, everything. Perkins didn't care where he was, as long as he was with Katie.  So, Katie and Perkins live in Hamburger or something like that.   She says she loved the apartment but she doesn't want Perkins alone so she looked for a kid sister for him and found one at a rescue. She applied for the kitten and she told mom that she'll get Perkins a little sister on August 25th.. 

I am sure there are things I've forgotten, but that should catch you up on the major things for the summer.   It's been a busy summer, dad doing his baseball stuff and mom is running the program to do a new church directory.  She keeps getting phone calls about photo appointments.  She hasn't taken us for our photo, but then I heard her say, no dogs allowed. Bummer.

I know these two are friends.  Frankie is always throwing herself at Eve when Eve is doing grooming.  Eve always stops grooming so she doesn't end up grooming Frankie.  They do seem to have a friendship but I really need to talk to Eve and remind Eve that cats are NEVER to be trusted. No matter how innocent they look, NEVER TRUST a cat.  Any CAT, even if you live with them. You just can't trust them.

I guess Eve remembered, or something happened.   I will have to talk to Eve later and get the details.  I'm just glad Eve has given Frankie the butt, I mean the boot.   Good job Eve.  Cats are not to be trusted, no matter what!

Mom gave me a bath today..  Just because Penny rolled herself in some stinky stuff outside doesn't mean I need a bath.  But mom thought if she was gonna get all wet bathing Penny, she may as well bath me.  Thanks Penny, old buddy. I'll remember that!!!

Mom and some of her friends when to the Pet Expo in Oaks and she came home all excited and told the me and the other dogs that she bought us a new dog bed! 

Mom took it out of the bag and put it in the livingroom.  Then we dogs followed mom into the kitchen to see what kind of snack mom was gonna eat. 

We came back in the livingroom and look who took over our new dog bed! Stupid cats around here!  It's a dog bed.  Can't cats see the pictures on the side of the bed??  Oh my goodness!!!

Happy New Year!  I guess I partied too much last night!
