I mean really!  I am so mad! After a tiring day of playing ball and sleeping on the sofa, it's time to hit the sack for the evening, a guy can't even get cats out of his life!  I really think I am gonna make a proposal to the family that I will refuse to sleep with cats on the bed.  You know what I mean?  It's bad enough that Penny and I have to share our bed with two humans every night.  But cats,  I can't take this any more.  Look at Sam she lays there upside down waiting to be petted.





How can a guy get any rest like this.  Oh well, I guess I should try, I'll need my energy to play ball and sleep on the sofa tomorrow.

I'll figure what can be done with this problem in the morning, I'm too tired to deal with it tonight!

Wow was it cold and damp today!   I figured I'd just hang out on the sofa most the day with the blanket to keep me warm.  I usually keep my whole body buried under the blanket, but I thought I heard something so I looked out to see what it was. Nothing much, so I went back under the covers and back to sleep.   I'm not looking forward to the winter but I am very glad I have a great home and my family makes sure I'm on the house and nice and warm everyday!  

Keep warm guys and if it's cold at your house, call my mom or dad, they probably have an extra blanket they can give you! 

 

With the humans around all the time this summer, I never got to jump on the computer and post anything!  Oh my goodness!   So, I have to get myself on a schedule to get caught up on my postings.  First let me share with your my bedtime prayer.  I couldn't find a picture of me at bedtime but found this one of Penny and I snoozing on the sofa.    Enjoy, and make sure your dogs and even cats can say this bedtime prayer!

DOG'S BEDTIME PRAYER
Now I lay me down to sleep,
The king-sized bed is soft and deep.
I sleep right in the center groover,
My human beings can hardly move.
I've trapped their legs, they're tucked in tight.
And here is where I pass the night.

No one disturbs me or dares intrude,
Til morning comes and "I want food!"
I sneak up slowly to begin,
And nibble on my human's chin.
For morning's here, it's time to play,
I always seem to get my way.

So Thank you Lord, for giving me,
This human person that I see.
The one who hugs me and holds me tight,
And shares their bed with me at night.

I usually post things that I am upset about on my blog.  But I have to post this and it's cause I'm so proud!   My kid, Katie is the best kids around!  She sent mom this picture yesterday with a comment telling mom that she was surprised she won this award!  

She is involved with so many things on campus and I guess this proves that the folks at Penn State are thankful that she is involved with so many things!  I think it's a great award and I'm so excited that she won this award!   

I hope that I can snag some more pictures that mom has of Katie so I can post them sometime soon!   

 

I know the cats are dumb but you know, these ducks aren't too smart either!   These ducks were swimming on the pool this morning.  They didn't stay very long, but they were swimming around and I guess having fun.   Mom and dad had pumped alot of water from the pool, but the rain the other day added more.  I guess the ducks were happy about it!

I hear the Easter Bunny is gonna be stopping around the house on Sunday. I told the other dogs and cats we should let  the Easter Bunny stop by, she may leave some goodies!

 A relaxing Friday Night at home. 

Mom and I went to visit mom's mom (who must be named grammy cause everyone calls her that when we go to see her).  She held me and petted me as she usually does and told me how glad she was that I came to visit her with mom. So after the nursing home adventure,  it's time for the Friday night chill on the sofa. 

So I am sitting on the sofa relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Life is good, Katie and her boyfriend came home from college for the weekend and all is well.  Just a relaxing Friday night.  But then I realized there is a warm something against my butt.  What is it? I can see Penny she on the pillow on the other side of the sofa, so what the heck is warm at my butt?

I'm really afraid to look at what is there, I can almost guess it's that cat again!  She seems to be a lover cat, that's what the family caller her. She loves everyone. Why does she love me?   I always give her dirty looks and walk away from her. Doesn't she get the idea I don't like cats not ever her.  When I first came to live her I chased her and the other cat but mom yelled at me and being mom's little boy I didn't like that.  So instead I give her dirty looks, but she just doesn't get it! 

So mom constantly says "Leonard, Frankie loves you".  but hey guess what mom, Leonard doesn't love Frankie.  That's it.. I'm gonna have a talk with that cat!  I am going to have to teach her a lesson somehow to say away from me!   Darn cat!  

So, when mom and everyone was out, I yelled at Frankie and made her sit facing the back of the chair, I thought that would punishment her and hopefully she would  learn a lesson. The lesson being "Stay away from Leonard".  Do you think she'll get it?? I hope so!  I made her stay there for an hour.  BAD CAT! 

Remember that big pile of snow that mom and dad had put Penny and me on a few weeks ago!  I thought that snow would be around for a long time!  Here is the pile on Friday.  After the rains this weekend the pile is completely gone!    I am surprised that it all disappeared so fast.  I still think Mom should have put the cat on the pile like she did to me and Penny!  But no, they only put us dogs up there.
