I know I know, Santa Paws it watching, I HAVE to be nice and let her share my chair.. I better get extra treats from Santa Paws for this, I'm REALLY not happy!!!

I am so up set, my sister Penny seems to be making friends with the enemy.. 
This is not a good! 

I am trying to sleep, but I have nightmares that these cats will fall on me!   Sometimes I think these humans should put there foot down to these cats! 

If you  hear a thump, come save me! 

I am really really losing my cool with this new cat!   I was having a nice day sleeping on the sofa. Mom and Dad were home hanging out with us all day and it was a fun relaxing day.   Mom got up off the sofa and this cat jumped up snuggled and worked his way towards me.  I am really not putting up with this!   I stayed laying there like two minutes and the cat seemed to feel very comfortable, so I just moved. 

I'm thinking of getting some kind of petition started so they can't get any more cats or kittens in this house.  I mean, this cat thing is really out of control and I'm just majorly tired of it!

Warm Labor Day weekend greeting to my friends.

I am really getting upset with this new cat that Cody and Katie brought home.   The cat it totally out of control, he's a cat for heaven's sake.  Cats and dogs don't get along, that is a known fact of history!   Could somebody please tell this thing they call "Perkins" that cats and dogs are not to be friends!
Everyone knows cats and dogs aren't friends!   He should know this, it's a fact born into the brain when dogs and cats are born.  Oh, maybe it isn't born into cat brains, I don't know if cats have brains.  Maybe they don't that's why they don't understand the dog dislike cat thing!




But I found pictures all over the internet proving this and you know if it's on the internet it's true!

 Oh crap, how'd that picture get in there??  

 

You get the idea, most normal dogs don't get along with cats.  Oh.. I just got it now, I understand the Penny getting along with Perkins thing! 

I totally get the Perkins - Penny connection now!  

I've learned a few things about this new kitty the humans are calling "Perkins".  You have to watch your back with him. You can never tell where that little thing will show up.  It's not safe anywhere anymore.  I'm getting tired of looking over my shoulder all the time.  I decided I'd sit here on the steps where I can see into several rooms at one time to try and keep a watchful eye out for that little nosy cat.




I also noticed the other day, he seemed to be real chummy when Katie was on her computer. I am afraid maybe that nasty little thing is looking stuff on the computer to try and figure out how to get rid of dogs or something!   I just can't trust this new kid. He came from a college, I have no idea how long the kid was taking classes up there or what!  I only came from the streets of Reading and what I learned there were street smarts and some Spanish.  I hope this cat isn't gonna try to make her own cat blog so something.  That would be really bad for me.  Mine is going so well but what if a stupid cat started one? 

I have to keep my eye on that kitty, I just can't trust him, no one knows his background, so we just don't have much information, not enough to trust him!

Here's that cat thing that  Katie and Cody brought home one day a few weeks ago.  They are calling the cat "Perkins".  So meet the new disaster in my life, Mr Perkins.  Another cat in this house is totally unfair to us dogs.  Penny and I were trying to talk Jaybo into doing some kind of formal protest, but you know Jaybo, she's the sweetest dog and refuses to join our protest. She even seems to like this cat.  Can you believe that?  Without Jaybo's support, us little dogs can't do much of anything but put up with this new cat, along with the other cats, Holli, Frankie and Sam.  There is never a dull moment in this house!

Well anyway, here is the new cat Perkins! 

Oh my goodness, I didn't know I would be living with Leonard!   I think I want to go back to Penn State where I was found!!  Help!!  Take me back!  (says Perkins as he makes his down the steps of the house!)

The other night we had a really bad thunderstorm.  Penny was a mess, I was trying to sleep and Penny was shaking and she kept jumping off the bed and running into the closet.  Mom kept getting up to try and make her feel safe.  Me, I just kept sleeping with dad. 

I guess that's why Penny slept so well last night.  I have to admit, she looks cute sleeping here between mom and dad's pillow and under the cover. 

Me, I sleep completely under the covers.

OMG.. Look at that stupid cat, is taking up half the bed.  Look at her, all spread out like a crazed lunatic.  Doesn't she know that I could call my friend, Jaybo (the big dog) and Jay could crush her with one jump on the bed.  "Mom, can you move the cat so I can go to bed in peace please?"











"Oh, Hi Dad!  Yes, I feel better if you keep your hand on the cat and I can rest up here near you.  I feel safe with you close to me.  I hope I don't have gas."  LOL  

This is what I do when it's one of those boring days.  Penny and I hang out with our favorite girl.  I prefer a pillow for my head.  Penny, always has to get more attention, she has to lay on the person.  She can be such a brat!   Oh well,  as long as she leaves me sleep, I can live with it!  Hope you all have a great week.  I have alot of plans, most of them include this sofa!  LOL

OMG!! "MOM!!!"  "Katie brought a cat in the house!  You can't be serious that we are keeping this little thing?" says Leonard. 

"Leonard dear" says mom, "Katie found him outside the one building at college.  He was scared and starved.  What could we do but take him in?  We have to give him a home with food and love.  I'm not asking you to love the new cat, (which Katie named "Perkins"  after the building out of where he was found) just tolerate him like you do the other cats!  Besides, Katie promises when she gets her own place she'll take him along!  I'm sure by then you'll be best friends and won't want to see him leave."    

"You are a good boy Leonard!, thanks for tolerating another cat in the house" says mom.

"MOM You can't leave me in the cage with this cat!  I don't care if you are just doing a quick errand. She shouldn't be in my cage!  How can a dog rest and relax with a cat in his space?  MOM!! Don't go!!!"

Guess who???

Happy Sunday Morning to you folks!  

Katie spent a lot of the past week cleaning and reorganizing her room.  She has decided to sell or somehow get rid of a lot of things.   She has reviewed her books and is keeping all the Harry Potter Series and she is keeping the series of these books.  I really like this book myself.  

 For some reason she is mad at me cause I liked this book so much.   Would you be mad at me cause I like this book so much?  Did I mention I don't read a book, you can see what I really like to do to a book!  (notice the bottom right hand corner)   Needless to say, I chew the book. Some books are really much more tasty then others.  You know everyone has certain books they like for whatever the reason. Mine is taste! This is not the first book I have chewed.  Ask Mom about her expensive Oley Valley History book that I like and the photo album of the one vacation the family took.  They were some of my favorites!  There are more too, but I can't recall the names of the other books.   

Oh well, on that note, enjoy your week!

Okay mom, if this is one of those holidays with fireworks, I think I'm ready!   I really don't like fireworks!  

Okay.. This has got to stop!   What am I going to do with this cat?   She doesn't deserve to be on the bed and she lays there like she own the place.  Oblivious to who sees what on her stupid cat body.   Really, is this legal to post a picture on this on a blog or would it be considered cat porn? 

  

Things with these cats are really rough at the house at times.   I tolerated the cat on the bed last night.  However, when mom got up this morning, she and I found the cat laying next to dad in bed.    REALLY?   This cat has got to go.   I have to do some research.  Excused me. 

This game of "catch the cat" is getting really boring!    I'm gonna have to think of something new to pass the time!  

Oh my, today is not turning out like I had planned..   

"Mom, can you call Frankie? Please?"

We finally got the naughty cat behind bars!   Thanks goodness!!!

Mom was doing some stuff outside today and stopped dead in her tracks when she saw this guy in the grass!  Thanks goodness I was inside.  I like these guys less then I like cats and you know what I think of cats!  

I'm trying to figure out how to tell mom I don't want to go outside to "do my job".  "Mom, do you have an old rug that I could use???"  I'm really not into snakes. 

This was today's adventure.  Mom was making some dessert and she had a little left over pudding and she was very kind and said I could have some.

 OMG.. it was so good!  

I licked out the bottom of the dish and then the sides, it was really good!   I guess next time I should start with licking off the sides before I start at the bottom!  I had pudding on my head and I couldn't reach it!  Oh well, mom washed it off, but I figure if she missed anything Penny will lick it off of me!  



Either way, it was great!

I hate to brag, but you can tell who is the top dog around this house can't you? How do you like my new bed??? It's king size. .Just the perfect size for me, the king of this house!   I don't usually brag, but when you get a great gift like a king sized bed, you have a right to brag!   Isn't it like the coolest dog bed you have ever seen?  I am the totally owner of this bed too!   I'm not sharing this bed with any of those stupid cats!  I can just see Franki  trying to sit on my bed.  It's not gonna happen ! This is my bed and I deserve it!  I am the king of this house!  


What's that mom?? I can't hear you?  oh... oh.. I see, yes I understand mom, I was just kidding, I knew the bed wasn't for me, it's way too big anyway!  It's the perfect size for Jaybo. 

 
I'm so disappointed!  It really was the perfect sized bed for me.   Oh well.. At least it belongs to Jaybo and not the cats! 

I feel like I'm being watched...    weird feeling... I wonder why I feel that way????

I noticed Frankie staring at something outside.  I sort of looked over her shoulder.  HOLY COW!  Look at that big bird. No wonder mom has been commenting that her bird feeder is always empty! I counted 13 of these big birds.  Mom said they are turkeys, I don't know what they are, but they are the biggest birds I have ever seen at the bird feeder!  I see the pretty red ones sometimes and then alot of other birds, but I have never seen these big ones at the feeder. They scared the squirrels away, all three of them!  I was wondering why are they called bird feeders when the birds and squirrels both eat from them?   Should they be called "Bird-Squirrel" Feeders?

It is cold outside.  It was 2* when mom took Penny, Jay and me outside this morning.  Once I came back inside,  I decided to snuggle and I'm staying here and sleeping until Spring ! I suggest you do the same.  It is so cold outside, I don't even have a problem with the cats inside on the sofa, as long as they don't cramp my style!
